Joshua Adrian Jones is an educational technologist, curriculum designer, and the architect of the Virtual Discipleship Framework (VDF). His work operates at the critical intersection of Christian technotheology, network infrastructure, and formative instructional design.
Holding an A.S. in Network Systems Technology from FSCJ alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from the College of Biblical Studies, and currently advancing graduate research in education at The University of the People, Jones approaches digital environments not as inert delivery pipes, but as morally formative ecosystems that shape habits of the heart long before content is delivered.
Rather than treating faith integration as a cosmetic veneer stapled onto secular curricula, he contends that the biblical metanarrative—Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration—serves as an active, cognitively rigorous engine across every academic discipline.
THE VDF / 03
Rooted in the doctrine of the Imago Dei, Jones developed VDF to dismantle the passive, transactional spectator models that dominate modern EdTech.
Through the framework, he equips educators, developers, and institutions to replace high-stakes memorization with interactive sandboxes, branching decision-trees, and grace-oriented failure loops—empowering students to exercise genuine moral agency and cultivate tangible artifacts of cultural stewardship in an increasingly automated world.
